Dear Parent / Guardian,
We have a very exciting opportunity for pupils to visit the Etihad Stadium in Manchester to watch Manchester City Vs Watford on Saturday 23rd April 2022. Students will have an enjoyable day, with access to the Manchester City Academy fun day, they will receive a tour pack, they will be able to visit the club store and of course, they will be watching one of the top football teams in Europe.
Pupils will need to bring plenty of food and drink for the day and if students would like to bring any spending money, they may do so.
The match is scheduled to start at 3pm, however this is only provisional and could change. Based on this start time, the trip will meet at 7.30am at the main school gate on Crown Way, leaving at 8am. We aim to return to school at approximately 9.30pm.
There are 45 spaces for this trip. If your child would like to attend, please complete the consent form on parent pay. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Mr. Alexander at calexander@cathays.cardiff.sch.uk
The school has the right to withdraw any student from this trip if behaviour in school is not acceptable prior to the trip.
The cost of this trip is £65 and payments should be made using Parent Pay. A £30 deposit must be paid by 25th February and the final £35 by 8th April. Please contact the school if you do not have a Parent Pay account or require support using this system.
