Results days will be held in person at the school. No results will be sent to students online and students will need to attend in person to collect their results. If you cannot attend yourself, a family member can collect results on your behalf but this must be communicated with us in advance and they must bring a letter of permission from yourself and photo ID as we cannot release your results without these.
AS/A Level Results day
14th August 2025 – 9am-12pm only – No one will be able to issue you with your results outside of these times
Advice will be available for university/careers support and about UCAS clearing if needed.
GCSE Results Day
Thursday 21st August 2024 – 9am -12pm only – No one will be able to issue you with your results outside of these times
This will also be an opportunity for 6th form enrolment and a careers advisor will be available if needed.
Please arrive at the 6th form entrance where you will directed to the lower hall to collect your results. You will not be able to enter via main reception due to building works and the school car park will be closed.
If you are on holiday and cannot attend on results day, you will need to email the exams office (exams@cathays.cardiff.sch.uk) and your head of year to arrange for your results to be emailed to you. This will not happen on the results day as they are extremely busy.
If you are in year 10 or below, you will not be able to arrange for your results to be sent and can collect them in September.
