Dear Parents/Guardians,
The Languages area has organised a Culture day for Year 7 pupils on the 14th of July. This day is about celebrating the variety of different cultures and languages we have in our school. Pupils will take part in a variety of workshops ranging from Chinese writing, music workshops with Samba Galez to Zumba classes. Pupils will come to school as normal and the workshops will replace normal lessons. Could you please ensure that your son/daughter wears their PE kit and appropriate footwear to school on this day. During this period of hot weather we would also ask that you ensure your child has sun cream, a hat and lots of water as one of the workshops will take place outside.
