Celebrate your culture day

Dear parents/guardians

A number of students have asked to have a ‘Celebrate Your Culture Day’ where students are allowed to wear clothes to school that reflect their culture and heritage. We feel that this will be an excellent way to celebrate the diversity in our school.

This will take place this Friday 15^th July. Many students are going to a lot of effort to prepare for the day and have been talking about it for some time. We would like it if as many students take part as possible, even if it by simply wearing a particular colour or item of sports clothing that reflects their heritage.

We hope that the day will give us further opportunities to discuss diversity, heritage and culture and reflect the uniqueness of our school population.

Those students who do not wish to take part should attend in regular school uniform.
