Dear parent/carer,
Re: Potential Data Breach
Due to an administrative error there has been a potential data breach in our sending of attendance letters. Pupils’ names and addresses may have been incorrectly sent to the wrong families.
If you have received one of these letters please return it via your child on Monday or as early as possible next week. Ask them to hand the letter to their form tutor or the Inclusion and Wellbeing Office.
We apoligise for this error and are in the process of reporting it to the council’s Information Governance Team. We have already made changes to our admistrative processes to ensure that such an issue doesn’t occure again.
Corrected letters will be reissued by post on Monday and will go through additional checking processes before they are sent.
