Parent PPG Letter

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Your son/daughter will be bringing home a letter today containing their most recent set of Pupil Predicted Grades (PPGs). These grades reflect their current performance based on the first round of assessments this academic year.

We encourage you to take some time to discuss these grades with your child. As this is the first set of predicted grades this academic year, it is important to recognise that there will naturally be gaps in knowledge at this stage. These grades are intended to provide a starting point for reflection and improvement as we move forward.

To support students in closing these gaps and improving their outcomes, we will be launching an intervention timetable after the half-term break. This will be targeted at students who would benefit from additional support in specific subjects.

There will also be an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress in more detail at our upcoming Parent Evenings:

Year 13 Parent Evening – Thursday 23rd October 4pm-7pm (last appointment 6.30pm)

Year 12 Parent Evening – Thursday 20th November 4pm-7pm (last appointment 6.30pm)

We look forward to working together to ensure your child achieves their full potential.

Kind regards,

Mrs C Taylor
