Dear Parent/Guardian,
Your son/daughter will be bringing home a letter this week containing their latest Pupil Predicted Grades (PPGs), based on this academic year’s second round of assessments. These grades provide the most up-to-date picture of your child’s current progress.
Please can you take time to review and discuss these grades with your child. At this stage in the year, any student who is not making sufficient progress is at serious risk of being required to repeat Year 12. For this reason, it is essential that any concerns are identified and addressed immediately, and that clear, purposeful steps are taken to support improvement.
To help students close gaps in their learning and make the necessary progress, a structured intervention timetable is already in place. These sessions are specifically designed to strengthen understanding in key subjects and have a proven positive impact on student outcomes. For students who are currently below target, consistent attendance and active engagement with these interventions are crucial to ensuring they meet the standards required to move into Year 13.
We are committed to supporting every student to achieve their full potential, and we appreciate your partnership in ensuring your child takes the necessary actions to improve.
Kind regards,
Mrs C Taylor
