Dear Parents / Guardians / Carers,
Pupils in KS5AJW and KS5EJT are invited to take part in an end of term trip on Thursday 3rd July. We will be travelling out of Cardiff and will be going into the Welsh countryside. Mr O’Rourke will confirm our exact route in the next few days, subject to the weather forecast. It will either be the Blorenge or Y Bannau Brycheiniog. The trip will involve a lot of walking and pupils must consider this when deciding whether to take part or not. A reasonable level of physical fitness will be required for this activity. There will be 15 places available on the trip, so it is important that pupils return their consent slips asap in order to secure a place. The trip is open to those pupils who have been attending school this half term.
The details of the trip are as follows:
Time of departure: 10.00am (Meet in Room 44)
Time of arrival back at school: 3.30pm approx.
Dress code: Comfortable, casual clothes that are suitable for walking in outdoors. Trainers or walking boots. Pupils will also need a hat, water and sun bloc. (Further information will be provided by Mr O’Rourke)
Transport: School minibus
Lunch arrangements: Packed lunches will be ordered from the school canteen ahead of the trip and pupils will be able to collect these before we leave school. Please see Mrs White to pass on your lunch order.
Cost: Free
