Dear Parents/ guardian 

Almost all Year 11 students have an English Language GCSE exam tomorrow morning and several have GCSE Geography in the afternoon.  We appreciate that many young people and their families will be celebrating Eid tomorrow. Unfortunately, we are unable to change the date and time of GCSE examinations. 

However, as we have done in previous years, where GCSE examinations have fallen on the same day as Eid, we will allow Year 11 students to wear their Eid clothes to school as we are aware that many of our Year 11 students will be coming straight from morning prayers to the exam. 

Therefore, tomorrow, students in Year 11 should either wear their school uniform or their Eid clothes to school to sit their examinations.
