Dear Parent / Guardian
As part of the Design & Technology curriculum, your child will design and make a number of practical items that will develop their making skills and introduce them to processes and techniques in woodwork, metalwork, laser cutting and textiles.
All materials will be provided for each project and the work produced by each pupil can be taken home.
We would appreciate it if you could make a £6 contribution, using Parent Pay, towards the cost of the wood, plastics and fabrics used in these projects. You can send in Cash if you prefer, please place it in an envelope addressed to Mrs Webb.
Food Technology practicals are not covered by this contribution. Each cooking session will carry a small contribution for ingredients provided.
