Dear parent/carer,
As my previous letters have said, we appreciate the support you give to make sure your child is proudly wearing the correct uniform every day.
Whilst we had hoped to be seeing warmer spring weather by now, we’re still very much needing to continue to wear waterproof coats and jackets. A reminder that hoodies, cardigans, denim and leather jackets are not part of school policy. The school blazer is compulsory and must be worn every day.
For additional warmth and waterproofing pupils can wear the additional items on the list below. These are optional and are not compulsory for any pupil.
- Branded school jumper (no other jumpers are allowed and no hoodies)
- A warm, waterproof coat (no denim or leather and no hoodies)
In order to give you time we are giving pupils who have been wearing non-uniform jackets this week to arrange a replacement. From next week hoodies will be confiscated and stored in the inclusion office for the day. Please ensure your child has an acceptable jacket or coat by Monday 15th April. Please contact your child’s Head of Year if you need support with this.
